Sunday, June 25, SWEDISH Midsummer

We start the journey at home in Skåne.
At the buffet there are herring, fresh potatoes, pies, salads, sauces, bread … The BBQ is on and we have sausages from Varmlösa, lamb from the appletorpet, and a lot of delicious vegetables. Finally strawberries of course, with vanilla cream and lemon verbena.
Hönsinge Crafts Brewery, our local beer producer visits us with their beer bar in the garden.

Sunday, July 2 GREECE

Greek evening with buffet full of feta cheese, olives, melons, taramosalata, skordalia, tzatziki, bean soup, vegetables, pita bread, moussaka. On the grill you will find gyros,Skåne plum, kleftiko on lamb from Appeltorpet with oregano and chili, octopus and much more.
For dessert you get a filodeg filled with vanilla cream and cinnamon glass.

Over the Atlantic to Mexico, here we serve a buffet and plate serving.
We serve prawn salad with chili and coriander and rutabaga salad. Ceviche on green tomatoes, fish taco, carne asaga on entrecote with smoked chili and bacon, pork soup, a pork chop with cinnamon and pickled red onions.

Thai food. Mossbylund’s chef Ooh has got “hands free” and we can hardly wait … She serves snacks on plate with rischips and chili peppers, spring rolls with sweetchilis sauce and satay chicken with peanut sauce. This evening the buffet offers, somtum, yum win sen , a-jard, tum pollamai … wokade vegetables, pad ped moo pa, green curry, rice … Curious?
Classic mango stickyrice as a finishing touch.

Hola! We fly back to Europe and land in Spain. On the grill there is paella with vegetables / fish / seafood. Grilled tilapia from Landskrona with garlic butter and chorizo from Varmlösa. We also have a buffet with tortilla, patatas bravas, boquerones, pan con tomato, jamón ibérico and salad.

Locally produced, homemade and love are the three words that describe our food! Our headchef Stephen Radcliffe lives and breathes for the Scandinavian ingredients and wants our guests to know the quality of life in the countryside, the sea and the forest. Together with our restaurant manager Fredrik Wennberg, they combinate menus with wines to remember.

We are not a gourmet restaurant, we are not a fine dining, we are simply a restaurant that gives pleasure for taste, smell and sight.

Open daily 11.00-17.00, everyday. Welcome!

We serve shrimp sandwiches, mushroom bruchetta, hamburgers, salads, or coffee with homebaked cakes. The whole menu you see below “lunch”.

Of course you can just relax with a coffee, tea or a glass of wine.

We organize many big weddings and parties in our party hall “Salen” which accommodates up to 120 people. Here are great surfaces both inside and out for mingling and dancing. It is possible to rent the whole hotel with all rooms, or only the hall with nearby hotel rooms. We can accommodate 90-100 overnight guests.

The area around Mossbylund is surrounded by many old beautiful churches and there is also the possibility of wedding ceremony in our garden or at our beautyfull beach.

Getting the responsebility to take care of your special day is a great hornor for us and every wedding is unique.
